Notes

The movie version of 'It's Carnival Time' is a different vocal overdub take to that of the record version, and that same version appears twice in the movie, one with instrumental overdubs of the intro and one edited version. In a letter dated March 6 1964, it is indicated that Paramount were not happy with Elvis' original March 5 vocal on 'It's Carnival Time', so Tom Diskin promised Paramount that Elvis would record a new vocal to the song. It is unknown exactly when this second overdub session took place but it was either on March 13, although Elvis would still have been on location shooting on this date, or March 24, when a new tape dub ("short version") was made for Paramount. The most likely date points to March 24.

In March of 2007, Sony decided to go through all of Elvis' masters. They retransferred everything and remastered all tracks including repairing as many clicks, pops, bad edits and dropouts as they could. They have used these newly mastered recordings on their new releases since 2007 including budget soundtracks, Legacy releases, the 30 disc Complete Elvis Presley Masters collection and the Franklin Mint package.

Thanks to Ernst Jørgensen for the information regarding the vocal overdub of 'It's Carnival Time'.
