The insert of 'Paralyzed' was probably applied
after 2:16
Take 5 of 'Old Shep' was used by mistake
on some original pressings of Elvis.
On the composite master of 'Too Much', the
'insert' is spliced at the beginning of Take 12.
In May 2022, Rockhurst Auctions offered several items from the files of the late Trude Forsher. Without a doubt, the most interesting one has to be the apparently unpublished written account of Elvis' September 1956 sessions at Radio Recorders. This was written by Forsher herself, and it was intended to be published by "Look" magazine. This has to be one of the most interesting items to surface in the Elvis World for quite a long time. Scans are shown below.
In March of 2007, Sony decided to go through all of Elvis' masters. They retransferred everything and remastered all tracks including repairing as many clicks, pops, bad edits and dropouts as they could. They have used these newly mastered recordings on their new releases since 2007 including budget soundtracks, Legacy releases, the 30 disc Complete Elvis Presley Masters collection and the Franklin Mint package.
Thanks to Josep Rulló Guardia for providing scans for the Trude Forsher article on the Phoenix Elvis forum.
