It is unknown exactly when this overdub session took place.

The 'Record Version' of Swing Down, Sweet Chariot was released by mistake on the 2009 SONY compilation box set "I Believe - The Gospel Masters", and again on Sony's 30 disc 'Complete Elvis Presley Masters' collection, where the liner notes incorrectly indicated that it was first released on 'A Legendary Performer Volume 4'. This version also contained female backing vocals which were presumably 'The Blossoms' and done at the same overdub session as Clean Up Your Own Back Yard.

In March of 2007, Sony decided to go through all of Elvis' masters. They retransferred everything and remastered all tracks including repairing as many clicks, pops, bad edits and dropouts as they could. They have used these newly mastered recordings on their new releases since 2007 including budget soundtracks, 'Legacy' releases, the 30 disc 'Complete Elvis Presley Masters' collection and the Franklin Mint package.
