Notes:

There are two draft mono mix tapes, of which at least one is dated February 28, 1969. A tape log of a later tape copy of both these tapes (except for  the last three tracks of the second tape) was shown in the magazine 'The Man and His Music' #13 listed as 'Basic + Alt. Vocals'. This source is referred to as the 'Draft mix tape'. This mono tape was actually the source of the 1992 bootleg 'American Rejects' (AR 1569), although the notes claimed acetate source for that.

There are two slow instrumental versions of the song known as Memory Revival on the Rough Mix tape dated February 28. The problem with that is that these Rough Mix tapes of January songs typically have the songs in reverse matrix number order and these slow versions of Memory Revival fit in between XPA5 1145 & XPA5 1143. This implies a matrix number XPA5 1144 for the tracks, but XPA5 1144 is the matrix number of the instrumental known as Come Out Come Out.

Memory Revival was given as title for an uptempo track taken from acetate and released together with mostly February songs with overdubs prior to March 25 1969 ("Memphis Memories" bootleg LP). Perhaps the slow Memory Revival was attempted on January 14 just after Come Out Come Out, without the Matrix number being changed? This would then be what's listed as the Slow takes 3-4 of Come Out Come Out recorded after the fast version (takes 1-2).

Just after Take 3 of Wearing That Loved On Look on 'Memphis Sessions (FTD)' Elvis can be heard singing a couple of lines of A Little Less Conversation.  The same two lines of A Little Less Conversation can be heard spliced to the begining I'm Moving On on 'Suspicious Minds - The Memphis 1969 Anthology'.

Takes 10 and 14 of Wearing That Loved On Look on "The American Way Volume 2" are reversed, this means Take 14 listed on "A Legendary Performer Volume 6" is actually Take 10.

Take 7 of You'll Think Of Me (in Mono) was released for the first time 'Officially' in August 2007 on a "Suspicious Minds" single that is part of the 'Elvis The King' singles collection. It's not on the single that is part of the box set, that one contains Take 7 of "Suspicious Minds" as the extra track. The one with Take 7 comes in a jewel case and lists the track as unreleased on the CD sticker. Maybe BMG do not have the stereo tapes for the first part of this session if they're releasing tracks in mono instead of stereo.

Take 16 of You'll Think Of Me released on 'Suspicious Minds - The Memphis 1969 Anthology' and 'Elvis Chante Mort Shuman & Doc Pomus' is incorrectly listed as being Take 14 - and also has the left and right channels swapped.

Elvis sings one line of Our Love And Aloha (Ernie Menehune - Roadrunner Records 1313 in 1958) before You'll Think Of Me on 'Suspicious Minds - The Memphis 1969 Anthology' - This is actually from before Take 2 of Rubberneckin' (January 20).

In March of 2007 SONY decided to go through all of Elvis' masters and they retransferred everything, remastered all tracks including repairing as many clicks, pops, bad edits and dropouts as they could. They have used these newly mastered recordings on their new releases including budget soundtracks, 'Legacy' releases and the Franklin Mint package.
