A remixed version of Stuck On You can
be found on 'Elvis 30 #1 Hits (E1)'.
A remixed version of A Mess Of Blues (RPA1
7394) can be found on 'Return Of The Rocker'.
A Mess Of Blues was released with backing
vocals way back in the mix on the 1980 1st pressing
of the German RCA release 'Elvis Forever Volume
2' (with matrixnumber CL 42853). This was done
by eliminating one of the stereo channels. When
RCA discovered the mistake they made a new LP
master with new matrix number CPL 42853.
The takes of Fame & Fortune on 'There's
Always Me Volume 4' have the left and right channels
swapped, although they are correct on 'There's
Always Me (Volume 1)'
In March of 2007, Sony decided to go through all of Elvis' masters. They retransferred everything and remastered all tracks including repairing as many clicks, pops, bad edits and dropouts as they could. They have used these newly mastered recordings on their new releases since 2007 including budget soundtracks, 'Legacy' releases, the 30 disc 'Complete Elvis Presley Masters' collection and the Franklin Mint package.
